By accessing or using the services provided by Star Movers and Storage (“Services”), including booking moving services through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Star Movers and Storage provides professional moving and storage services, including local and long-distance moves, commercial moves, and related services as described on our website.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made through our website or customer service channels or in person.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking.

  • All payments are made in person at the time of service completion. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle. Online or credit card payments are not accepted at this time.

  • Final payment is due upon completion of the move, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • we request that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your move.

  • Rescheduling is allowed and subject to availability.

  • Cancellations may impact scheduling priority for future service.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for ensuring all items to be moved are ready and accessible at the scheduled time.

  • You warrant that you own or have the right to move all items included in the service.

  • Hazardous, illegal, or perishable items are not permitted.

  • You agree to disclose any special handling requirements or fragile items in advance.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

  • Star Movers and Storage will take reasonable care in handling your belongings but is not liable for damage caused by inherent risks of moving, packing, or transportation. This includes, but is not limited to, damage due to shifting during transit, pre-existing item weaknesses, or customer-packed boxes.

  • We strongly recommend adequate insurance coverage for your belongings.

  • Our liability for any loss or damage is limited to the maximum amount allowed by applicable law or as expressly stated in a signed agreement.

  • By booking a move with Star Movers and Storage, you acknowledge and accept that we are not liable for damages resulting from normal risks associated with the moving process unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Delays and Force Majeure

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, strikes, or natural disasters.

  • In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and reschedule services as soon as possible.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Star Movers and Storage or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference herein.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Ohio.

  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cincinnati, Ohio, unless otherwise required by law.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
